Want to get someone else up in the sky? Bright Flight Gift Vouchers don’t expire, and we’ll work with you to make it extra special. Of course, you can send them up to launch on their own, or you can book yourself in too and join them in the air.
Flight Options
The Top To Bottom Flight is our 10 Minute Flight from the top of Mystic, a gentle glide, with the option of a bit of rollercoaster motion in there!
The High Flight is our 30 Minute Flight, where you climb above Mystic and enjoy the views of town and the surrounding valleys.
The Cross Country Flight is our 1 Hour Flight that will get you high in the sky exploring the ridges around Mystic and seeing the Alpine Valleys from above.
In the Flight To The Vineyard we will take you from Mystic and fly you to the Ringerreef Vineyard on the other side of Porepunkah to enjoy Cheese and Wine after the flight.
Passenger Requirements
To fly tandem with us they need to be between 30 – 100kg, and have done at least 10 laps around the sun.
Tall or short is no problem, and so long as they can do a short light jog you should be fine, but if you have any questions about suitability please give us a call.
What to wear and bring
We launch almost 600m above town, and the air can get cool up there. A light jacket in summer, and a warmer jacket in winter.
Trainers, running or walking shoes work best, launching and landing is easy, but they’ll need to wear shoes you can do a short jog in.
They’ll also want sunglasses, and any phones, GoPro’s or selfie sticks.
Photos
It’s 2023 and we all have smart phones. Our pilots can provide selfie sticks with leashes that fit most phones at no cost, and we’ll give you tips for the entourage on where to stand on launch and landing for the best shots of your take-off and landing.
Weather to fly
When we finalise the date and time with your passenger, we’ll discuss weather to make sure they get the most from your flight based on the timing available.
We have a flexible weather rebooking policy, we’d rather you have a great experience with our team, than flying in air that doesn’t give you a fantastic experience. We understand that what makes for a smooth flight will vary from passenger to passenger, so we’ll discuss what you’re after when we book in.
Transport
We meet and finish at the Landing Zone on Wandiligong road. So all you need to do is get to us, and we’ll take it from there.
Best time of year
Every season has it’s own advantages, and if you have any questions, you can always call the team. Summer has hot daylight savings evenings where you can float above town at the end of a long day of play, Winter lets you catch glimpses of snow capped mountains. In Spring you’ll see waterfalls glistening off buffalo, and in Autumn, well, there’s no better way to see the tree colours than a glide over town.
